| frrriday??? faaamine??? heck yes. for 30-ish hours. so. we're meeting at the church at 6;00....i believe. and *chillin* till 8;00-ish the next day. with...youth group type people. sound...kinda fun. in a way...right? probably. so bring friends.......we love friends round here. look what we did to bobbi lyn. ne way. stop eating at noon on friday if your schedule allows... and we will starve. but it will be kickin. so dont worry. PLUS!! we're gonna save some lives. (deffinently one of the cool parts about this..) yeah.. its exciting. so get lotts and lotts of donations... we have a goal of $1,500 this year...which is kinda alot.. but we can definently do it. and: that t-shirts are gonna be wayyy hot this year. trust me.
theres more details to this topic, but im a bit tired. so..remember..friday..6;00..no eating..lots of fun..and youth group people. AND: i think the doodles are gonna come hang out for a bit. exclamation point.

ive been praying pretty hard for the youth group for a while now, and i think its finnally paying off.. we have lotsa potential, we just need to get ready. OKAY!!>?!???!?
first note: lock-in....sooo fun!! he did a lot of hanging out and raking and not a lot of sleeping. thank you dearly to km for putting up with us...even if you were kindof grumpy.
second note: we had a nice little meeting on saturday morning and discussed what we want to happen in the future.
- game tables. we raised almost $1400 from the apple fest and we voted to use a large chunk of that to pay for a pool table and a foosball table for the youth room.
- room renovation. tyler needs an eagle project and we need a cool place to have youth...so hes thinking about knocking out the walls that separate the big room from the smaller room at the top of the stairs. this will give us space to expand with more kids. also, we talked about the painting situation. there are lots of ideas floating around concerning this topic, but we all agree on at least one mural.
- fund-raisers. a baby-sitting service was purposed for one night in advent. proceeds would go toward projects or trips in 2006.
- retreats. many of the youth had shown interest in attending a more structured and spiritual based retreat than the beach. we are considering sending some of the senior highers to winterfest in january.
- outreach day. we need to be bringing people into our church, and the youth group is a very capable utility for just that. we want to have an event involving kids from the community as well as the jr. highers from our own church to offer them our youth group. pictures, games, music...be thinking of what you would like to see in a new youth group.
- contemporary services. we are very excited about this plan... we want to hold monthly youth services in the youth room during 10:45 service. it would have a teen targeted sermon and guitar based worship music while following the regular liturgy.
whew.. we got a lot accomplished. PLEASE be asking god to help us with this stuff, or it wont happen...
if you have any questions about these ideas, just ask me or KM..

| ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL???? YOUTH SERVICE PROJECT/LOCK-IN NOVEMBER 4-5
well, it's the elderly yard raking time of year. so meet us @ the church at 6:30 0n friday night and we will spend the night harrassing my foster ma(mary karl)!!! then we will get up for some breakfast, play some football, and then hit the old people...i mean their houses. breakfast and lunch are included for a fee of $30....that is payable to nigella siegl...jk. its free. but i will be accepting donations. anyway, bring a rake and maybe even a friend. there is a possibility that we may go to rock n' bowl or other such activity that would require money. if this indeed does happen you will have the choice of staying at the church, but just incase, bring lots of money. acctually, nevermind! majority rules. so just bring money. ok? on saturday afternoon please be picked up by your parents/foster parents by 5:30.
REVIEW OF HALLOW'S HELL AT HEATHER'S HOUSE(HALLOWEEN PARTY)
it was a smashing success!! kinda. it would be helpful if we had more attendance...but we had the doodle and he livened the party!
p.s. those of you who miss the party ::cough:: (mary karl and other karls) also missed the one and only time that the doodle(mr doyle) will ever be seen wearing a thug coustume and rapping.
